Ok, so I'm new at this blogging stuff so I missed your other postings. I'm looking forward to your updates from the Ukrane. Hopefully your plane ride was uneventful and you made your connections safely. This is too much excitement for me!!! ha!! (You know I'm living vicariously through you!!) Love to you both!!

Thinking of you both and holding you in prayer as you travel. You are a testimony to life with a passion. Your passion to seek the children the Lord has called to be in your family and to bring them safely home is like the parable of the pearl of great price in Scripture...the farmer who sells all he has to buy the field with the treasure. May the Lord give you wisdom and safety as you proceed. May He go before you by His Holy Spirit and prepare your way, removing obstacles and providing mercies.

A note to the children: This is your future Auntie Pat. I am married to your new daddy's brother. His name is Lynn. I have three grown children, two boys (one is married) and one girl. We are excited to meet you. We live about one hour and 15 minutes away from your new mommy and daddy. We are praying for you all daily. with love in Christ, Auntie Pat

Praying for you this morning. If I understand it, today here is tomorrow there. Have you already met your new family? What can you tell us about them? You are on our mind and hearts daily with love.

To the children:
Waiting for you is like waiting for a child to be born. We are excited and long to see you. You too are on our minds and hearts daily with love.

This morning we have snow on the ground, though we can still see the grass. A few flurries are still coming down. We have our Christmas tree up and decorated. My daughter, Shannon, made pumpkin cookies last night with caramel frosting.

Today is a laundry/house day until I go into work around 3pm. I am a nurse, but I only work a few hours a week at a local clinic.

Your Uncle Lynn is a business man and he is at work today. My oldest son, Scott, works with Uncle Lynn in business too. His wife, Rose, works in another city and is looking for work closer to home. They have only been married two months. My middle son, Thomas, is a writer. He is doing other work too. Writing is difficult to do to earn much money.

Let us know more about you when you can. We are holding you close in our thoughts with love, Auntie Pat
