This is our story of adoption from Ukraine in 2010. We hope families use it to see what the adoption process was like for us, to help with your decision to adopt, and to share ideas that worked for us.

How to call us the right way!
To reach an outside country you must first dial 011 then the country code 38 and then 066-693-0631 Thank you Mike Andrews.

I called your father and he was so happy to hear the news that you are doing fine. I gave him your phone number. Sue and I have been keeping you two in our prayers when we pray together at night. We are sure that God has great things in store for you. What you two are doing brings to mind the book of James in the New Testament that talks about being doers and not just hearers only. You two are doers that can and will be used by God. The scripture says "Pure and undefiled faith is to do this, to visit orphans and widows in their time of need and to keep oneself unspotted from the evils of the world." Mike and Sue Andrews
Shawn and Sharon - I am soooo happy for you. I am at a loss for words! I can't imagine how you both must have felt meeting your children for the first time after all that you have been through. I'm sure it was all worth it!!! Enjoy every minute of your visits with them over the next few days. Looking forward to more photos!! love ya!
